Payout and earnings rules

How earnings are calculated, what has to happen before money moves, and when a payout is released.

This document is a working draft prepared to match how Rep This Brand actually operates. It is pending final review by the owner and a qualified attorney before launch.

How earnings are calculated

Each campaign states gross compensation for qualifying participation. Rep This Brand deducts a 5% platform fee from the gross amount. The remainder is the net payout.

What must be true before a payout

The campaign must be funded. Your application must be approved. Participation must be confirmed by the business. Your Stripe payout account must be complete and able to receive transfers. Your payout country must be the United States.

Every payout is also subject to an internal authorisation step; automated systems cannot release money on their own.

Timing

Transfers are initiated after confirmation. The time for money to reach your bank is determined by Stripe and your bank.

Holds

Payouts on a campaign can be paused while a refund, dispute, or fraud review is open on that campaign.

Records

Every charge, fee, transfer, refund, and dispute is written to a financial ledger. Your payouts page shows gross, fee, and net for each participation.
