Campaign funding and refund policy
What you pay when you fund a campaign, what happens to money that is not used, and when a refund is possible.

This document is a working draft prepared to match how Rep This Brand actually operates. It is pending final review by the owner and a qualified attorney before launch.
What you pay
You pay the campaign compensation pool plus a platform fee of 20% added on top. Both lines are shown before payment. Payment is taken through Stripe's hosted checkout; Rep This Brand never sees your card details.
What the pool covers
The pool is reserved for ambassador compensation on that campaign. Amounts are drawn down as approved ambassadors complete qualifying participation.
Unused funds
If a campaign ends with money remaining in the pool, the balance is held and flagged for administrator review. It is not automatically refunded and not automatically re-spent. Contact support to discuss a return or transfer to another campaign.
Refunds
The platform fee is non-refundable once a campaign has been published. Compensation already earned by ambassadors for confirmed participation is not refundable.
Refunds of unspent pool amounts are considered case by case, for example where a campaign was funded in error or could not be published.
Failed and duplicate payments
Duplicate payment notifications are ignored by design; a campaign is never charged or credited twice for the same payment. If a payment fails, the campaign stays unfunded and is not published.
