Dispute policy
How we handle a disagreement about participation, and what happens when a payment is disputed with a card issuer.
Last updated: 12 September 2026
This document is a working draft prepared to match how Rep This Brand actually operates. It is pending final review by the owner and a qualified attorney before launch.
Raise it first
Most issues are a misunderstanding about what a campaign required. Contact support with the campaign name and what happened. We will ask both sides for their account.
Participation disputes
If a business does not confirm participation, an ambassador may ask for review. A person reviews the campaign requirements as published, the versioned materials released, and the platform-recorded participation history. Compensation is released only for qualifying participation.
A business cannot change compensation, required work, duration or other material terms after acceptance without the ambassador's affirmative agreement and a recorded change. Qualifying work is judged against the deal the ambassador accepted.
Card disputes and chargebacks
If a business disputes a campaign payment with its card issuer, the campaign is marked as disputed and further payouts on that campaign are paused while the dispute is open. Stripe decides the outcome of the card dispute.
Fraud and misuse
Self-clicks, bots, click farms, fake traffic, fabricated screenshots or completion, multiple accounts, spam, unauthorized material edits, tracking manipulation, and off-platform fee avoidance can result in withheld compensation, removal of a campaign, or suspension of an account.
One person may operate one ambassador account. Platform-side records and anti-duplicate controls may be used during review.
Private communications
Private conversations remain private. REP THIS BRAND does not require contact-list access or promise that it can see or verify private external messages. We consider private-message proof only when a campaign published a permitted proof mechanism before acceptance.
Decisions
Dispute decisions are made by a person, not by automation. We will tell you the outcome and the reason.
